Southeast University officially signed implemental agreement of jointly setting up Confucius Institute with The University of Texas at Dallas

One the morning of 16th October, vice Provost James Walter Marqart of University of Texas at Dallas together with other three people visited Southeast University, and held talks about matters concerned in setting up Confucius Institute by cooperation between University of Texas at Dallas and Southeast University. Vice president Pu Yuepu and James Walter Marqart on behalf of their respective universities, signed implemental agreement that University of Texas at Dallas and Southeast University cooperatively set up Confucius Institute. Confucius Institute of University of Texas at Dallas is the third Confucius Institute that Southeast University sets up since the one set up with Belarus Minsk national university and the other one set up with The University of Tennessee. Besides, Chinese representatives who attended signing ceremony were president Huang Kai of school of international education, director Shi Lanxin of department of international cooperation, president Wang Yanxin of School of Fine Arts and so on.
