Detailed itinerary
Day 1 Shenzhen-Urumqi
Gather at the designated place and drive to the airport. Leave Shenzhen for Urumqi by plane. After supper, the guide will help you to lodge in the hotel.
Day 2 Urumqi- Turpan
After breakfast, take a car drive to Sugong Pagoda which was established in Qing Dynasty. Then lead you to enjoy the Mountain of Flames throughout the Turpan Basin. After that, continue to visit the Ancient Gaochang City established in 1st centure AD. After lunch, proceed to enjoy the great underground hydraulic project- Kanr Well.
Day 3 Turpan- Korla
After breakfast, drive to the pear city- Korla and visit the inland largest lake of fresh water- Bositen Lake/ Jinsha Beach. Next proceed to enjoy the site of Tiemenguan where was the throat of the ancient silk road.
Day 4 Korla- Kuqa
After breakfast, go to the Desert Road and enjoy the beautiful Diversifolious Polar Scene Line. Visitors can take pictures and then lead to the world longest desert road traveling. After that, go to enjoy the China First Inland River-Tarim River and admire the Tarim Bridge. You can get off the bus and experience the charming desert without seeing a green tree. Then bus to Kuqa and visit the Kuqa Temple.
Day 5 Kuqa- Aksu
After breakfast, go to the Tianshan Mountain sacred valleys and enjoy the Tianshan natural scenic view on the way. They are composed of red peaks and hills where to have a good learning of the mixture of Buddhism culture and ancient Guizi culture. After that, drive to Aksu and appreciate the captivating scenery on the way.
Day 6 Aksu- Kashi
After breakfast, take a car to Kashi and visit the famous mosque- Artilinier Mosque. Then lead you to the Flagrant Imperial Concubine Tomb which was built in 1640. After that, proceed to Bazha and buy the ancient and traditional handcrafts. Next have a visit to the old urban areas.
Day 7 Kashi
Morning, go to Pamir Plateau and visit Kalakuli Lake also called “Black Lake”. Visitors may have a special feeling of the unique lake with beautiful glaciers and grass and mountains around.
Day 8 Kashi- Urumqi
After breakfast, go to Urumqi by air and the guide will meet you. Then lead you to the Heavenly Pool on the top of Tianshan Mountain, which has crystal clean water and beautiful landscapes. Then have a visit to Bogeda Peak. At about 9:00pm, gather and register in the hotel.
Day 9 Urumqi- Shenzhen
After breakfast, go to enjoy the Islam ethic business architectural buildings which are the World First Bazha. After that, go back to Shenzhen and the tour ends.
