Day 01Arrival in Xian

When your flight lands in Xian, our guide will meet you outside the Baggage Claim Area of the airport. A comfortable private car will transfer you to check in the 5-star Shangri-la Golden Flower Hotel. Your Xian visit starts from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a seven-storey square cone-shaped tower which was built in the Tang Dynasty, about the 7th Century. It was used to house the Buddhism scriptures and statues brought back from India by Master Xuanzang. Now the pagoda is one of the landmarks of Xian City. Then to avoid the mass-produced food at the tourist eateries, we will serve you an a la carte lunch at the well-known local restaurant, where you can taste the authentic Chinese food. In the afternoon, visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which is regarded as the world's eighth wonder. The lifelike figures and horses were orderly arranged in battle formations, which were believed to be the guards of the Qin Shihuang's Mausoleum. You will also be impressed by the exquisite Bronze Chariots and Horses and bronze weapons. Dinner tonight is the famous local specialty Dumpling Dinner, traditional Chinese dumplings of variety kinds of wrappers and fillings.(L+D)
