Day by day itinerary
Day 1 Beijing-Lhasa
Leave Beijing for Lhasa by rail.
Day 2
Stay in the train and admire the scenery along the way.
Day 3 Lhasa
The train will enter Qinghai-Tibet Plateau where you can admire the breath-taking scenery Mt. Kunlun, the Tibet antelopes, and snow mountains along the way. Transfer to hotel for adjustment.
Day 4 Lhasa
Go to visit the landmark of Tibet-the Patala Palace, built in Sontzen Gampo era, it’s the world-famous cultural heritage. Later you can visit Jokhang Temple, with a history of 1350 years, the oldest temple in Lhasa. After that, you can have a free walk on Barkhor Street, in which converges all pilgrims from the country. On Barkhor Street you can have a panoramic view of Tibetan life. Stay in Lhasa with three meals.
Day 5 Lhasa-Nyingchi
After breakfast, leave Lhasa for Nyingchi. After climbing over the mountain (4800meters high) in the bus, you can arrive in Nyingchi. Later you can visit Basum Lake National Forest Park.
Day 6 Nyingchi-Lhasa
After breakfast, go to visit Niyanghe River, called as “fairy tear”. Later go to admire the Big Cypress, with a history of 2650 year old! Go back to Lhasa at afternoon.
Day 7 Lhasa-Yangpachen
After breakfast, go to visit Nam Lake. While on the way back you can visit Yangpachen scenery spot.
Day 8 Lhasa-Beijing
After breakfast, leave Lhasa for Beijing by railway.
Day 9, 10
The train will arrive in Beijing two days later for long distance. Journey ends.
Price includes: train tickets and travel bus; 3-star hotel; team food; the first attraction fees of listed scenery spots; local guide service.
