Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 Wuhan to Jiayu Pass
Transfer to the rail station for your train to Jiayu Pass, which is the start point of Silk Road.
Day 2 Jiayu Pass
Evening:
Arrive in Jiayu Pass at 23:15 by train T193, and then register at the hotel
Day 3 Jiayu Pass to Dunhuang
Morning:
Visit Jiayuguan tower which was constructed in 1372. The tower is square and consists of inner city, outer city, and the enceinte of city gate, the total area is 33500 square meters, and the whole layout is rigorous, highly skilled, and impregnable.
Afternoon:
Then (by quick guest bus) go to Dunhuang from Jiayuguan (one-way 385km, approximately 5 hour driving distance). After the arriving, move in the hotel.
Day 4 Dunhuang to Turpan
Morning:
Visit world Buddhism art treasure Mogao Caves, which was built in 366 year, nowadays exist 492 caves, 45000 square meters of mural and the statues there are more than 2400.
Afternoon:
Visit desert marvelous sight Mt. Mingsha, and the crescent spring. To appreciate the oasis relies on the sand and the sand not to cover the mysterious spring, which forms harmonious scenery.
Latter, go to Liuuan station by bus (one-way 128KM, approximately 2 hour driving distance) and then go by train NO.1043 (20:50-08:20).
Day 5 Turpan to Urumqi
Morning:
Go to fire continent Turpan by bus (one-way 200KM, approximately 3 hour driving distance), visit the city with more than 2000 years, and pursue the Silk Road in the remnant of destroyed buildings. And then, enter the Chinese sweetest place - grape ditch, you can play the Uygur national minority nationality dance under the grape trellis.
Afternoon:
Visit the biggest wind power station of Asia – Daban city wind power station. Then enjoy the 10-mile scenery of the saline lake by bus.
Evening:
Return to Urumqi and move in the hotel.
Day 6 Urumqi to Tianchi Lake to Urumqi
Morning:
After the breakfast, go to the Tianshan and Tianchi Lake by bus (one-way 120 KM, approximately 1-and-a-half hour driving distances), visit Tianchi Lake (pay own expenses, 35RMB per person)
Afternoon:
Return to Urumqi by bus, visit international bazaar, and select Xinjiang national handicrafts, native products on your own, enjoy the foreign land character and style.
Day 7 Urumqi to Wuhan
Return to Wuhan by plane, and hope you enjoy your trip!
