The Low Costs and Fees
Yulin University is one of the cheapest universities in China for studying the Chinese language. Every year, living costs and tuition fees are getting higher for international students who hope to study in China, due to the country’s rapid economic growth and the effects of the nation’s current exchange policy.
Yulin district, however, has kept living costs lower than most of the other major cities. In addition, Yulin University has kept the tuition fee for international students very low compared to other Chinese universities.
International students are required to pay just 8,000 RMB Yuan (less than 1,000 US Dollars) each year for tuition and 6,000 RMB Yuan (single room) or 3,600 RMB Yuan (double room) each year for lodging (food is not included).

Application Procedures
- Inform us of your wish to study at Yulin university by Email, Tel., or Fax, and request that THE APPLICATION FORM be sent.
- After filling in the Application Form, please email, mail or fax it to International Affairs Office, Yulin University.
- Once the application has been approved, an Admission Notification and a JW202 Form will be mailed to the applicant.
- With the above documents and a passport, the applicant can apply for a visa from his/her local China Embassy or Consulate.
(Alternatively, the applicant may come to Yulin University with a tourist visa, and then, with our help, can go through the necessary procedures.)
- Pack your bags and hop a flight to Beijing, China.
- From Beijing you can come to Yulin by air, bus or train, although for newcomers air travel is usually the easiest means of transportation.
- After arriving at Yulin university, you can relax in your room.
- Before classes begin, you need to register. Don’t forget to bring these documents: 1) Admission Notification; 2) JW202 Form; 3) Passport; 4) Schooling Certificate or Certification of Education Experience; 5) 4 passport photos.
