Chang'an University College of Humanities and Social Sciences (the College of Humanities) is the humanities and social sciences teaching and research base for work mainly in schools, the Hong Kong Polytechnic combination of humanities and social disciplines in the pattern of coordinated development of an important strategic position. College of Humanities has high-quality teachers, the existing staff of 137 people, with 146 people full-time teachers (including school part-time teachers). There are 15 Professors 50 Associate Professors, 50, doctor 11 people, 31 people graduate instructors. 1838 students, and college a total of ideological and political education, administration, law, advertising, journalism, Chinese Language and Literature, radio and television producers and public utilities management study eight undergraduate professional, industrial economics, science and technology, philosophy, ideological and political education, basic theory of Marxism, Marxism in China studies, economic law and administrative points and seven Master of MPA (Master of Public Administration) Professional degree point.
College of humanities with the Public Management Department, Faculty of Law, the Political Education Department, Advertisement Department, the Department of Chinese Literature, Journalism and Communication Department and the Fine Arts Department of the seven professional teaching institutions, with the Marxist principle of Teaching and Research Section, Department of Chinese characteristics and the theoretical, ideological and moral teaching and research section and China near the modern history of teaching and research section 4 of public educational institutions, also has the "three represents" Research Center, Chang'an Cultural Institute, Law Institute of Literary and Artistic Institute and four research institutes, but also with the humanities and social sciences library and information centers and Experimental Center of the humanities and social sciences teaching aids two institutions.
Humanities and Social Science Library Information Center has all kinds of Tibetan books are more than 4 books, more than 300 kinds of newspapers and periodicals; Humanities and Social Science Center has exhibits experimental techniques, a mock court, the art foundation, advertising production, studio news, information retrieval and computer application 7 laboratories, the students a full range of training and education.
