Day by day itinerary
Day 1 Hangzhou-Lanzhou
Leave Hangzhou for Lanzhou by air. After arrival, you can see the downtown and then transfer to hotel with supper offered.
Day 2 Lanzhou-Jiayuguan
After breakfast, go to visit Mother Yellow River Statue, Zhongshan Bridge and White Pavilion Mountain. Go to Jiayuguan by train at night. Stay in the train for the night. Three meals will be offered.
Day 3 Jiayuguan-Dunhuang
The train will arrive in Jiayuguan-Steel City in West China in the morning. Go to visit the far most west end of Great Wall. Transfer to Dunhuang at afternoon. Stay in Dunhuang and three meals will be offered.
Day 4 Dunhuang-Turfan
After breakfast, go to visit Mingshashan (Sound Sand Mountain) and Moon Spring. Later you can have a try of riding camel. After lunch, go to visit world cultural heritage-the Mogao Grottoes to feel the greatness of Buddhism cultural. Transfer to Turfan by the train at night and three meals will be offered.
Day 5 Turfan-Wushi
After arrival in Turfan in the morning, go to visit Jiaohe Ancient City, Uighur Old Village and the local special project-Karez. After that, go to visit Flame Mountain (surface temperature 70 centigrade) and Grape Corridor. After admiring the Uighur performance, go back to Urumqi by vehicle. On the road you can see Asian biggest wind power generation station-Dabancheng Wind Power Generation Station. Stay in Wushi for the night and three meals will be offered.
Day 6 Wushi
After breakfast, go to visit Tianshan Mountain and Heaven Pool by vehicle. After lunch, go back to Wushi to visit Dabaza, the best place for you to know Uighur life style. At night, you can watch the local performance and join them eating boiled lamb. Stay in Wushi for the night and three meals will be offered.
Day 7 Urumqi-Hangzhou
Dismiss at Urumqi airport and journey ends.
