The school of Pharmaceutical Science of China Medical University in Shenyang, whose precursor was the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, was established in December, 2005. It undertakes great changes with the awareness and care if the communist party and government.
At present, it is composed of 5 parts, including 10 teaching and research sections, one central laboratory, 2 research sections of Crude Drug and Esthetic Drug, one PhD stations and 2 Master stations. The 10 teaching and research sections include Pharmacochemistry, Pharmacognostics, Phytochemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Toxicology, Bio-pharmaceuticals and Clinical Pharmacy. Among them Pharmacology is on provincial level. There are more than 1,000 full-time students (11 PhD students, 58 postgraduate students and about 230 full-time undergraduate students). It currently has faculties of 80 members which 30% are advanced professional rank, 45% are PhD and Master Degrees, 11 doctoral supervisors, 28 master supervisors and 2 teachers engaged in the special salary of the government.
The school has established wide cooperative relationships with many foreign universities and institutions and corporations. It has been a famous domestic university in China.

Application time
For foreign students, the duration time of application is from March 1 to June 30.
The time of entrance is September 1 each year.
Entry requirements
Bachelor’s Degree: Graduated from formal senior high school, above 18 ages, good health, and pass the entrance examinations.
Master’s Degree: Graduated from formal medical colleges with bachelor’s degree or above, good health, and pass the entrance examinations.
PhD: Master’s degree holder of medical specialty, good health, and pass the entrance examinations.
Tuition fees
Tuition fee and living expenses will be charged in accordance with the relative regulations of the Educational Ministry and the Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China. All the other expenses must be paid by applicants themselves.
