D1 Beijing
Maybe you have been to the Forbidden City with huge walls. Outside of the Forbidden City, there was another imperial wall surrounded. Nowadays, only a short section is available to public. Our tour begins from this imperial wall.
After admiring the outer imperial wall, you will be taken to Wangfujing Street—the No.1 shopping pedestrian street in Beijing. Lots of shopping malls with world famous brands as well as Beijing traditional brands gather here and there is also a well-known snack street that you can’t afford missing.
Following is the visit of Chang’an Avenue, along which you are able to see the most splendid buildings built in different ages. On Tian’anmen Square, the “heart” of China, you will feel deeply the imperial atmosphere, both ancient and modern.
Tonight, if you like, you can try the Imperial Dishes(USD45) in Beihai Park and Beijing
Opera(USD38). Beihai Park was the royal park during the past 600 years. And Beijing Opera,
which is dubbed National Quintessence now, performed originally exclusively for the emperor’s
birthday celebration.
