D1 Macao
In the morning, one hour shipping will bring you to Macao. The first place you visit will be the Ruin’s of St. Paul, the land mark of Macao. Then you will visit the Penha Hill with a handsome cathedral built in 1622. After admiring the cathedral, you will have a chance to visit the Barrier Gate, the only connection between Macao and mainland of China. Built in 1870, this barrier watches the changing of the ages, recording the history of Macao.
Kum Iam Temple is the spirit hometown for the local fish men. The Bodhisattva of Sea here blesses all the prayers a safe trip. By visiting the church and temples, you will have a better understanding of the multi religion here. If you like, you are able to try your luck in casino before return back to Hong Kong.
