Day by day itinerary
Day 1
Leave Hangzhou for Lanzhou by plane.
Day 2
Visit the Baita Hill Park and the Yellow River Mother Statue, Zhongshan Bridge and ancient waterwheel. In the evening, go to Jiayuguan by train.
Day 3
Arrive at Jiayuguan in the morning. Visit the City Wall Mansion of Jiayuguan and the Great Wall. Admire the magic scenery of yardangs. Appreciate the magnificent Chilien Mountain in distance. Then go to Dunhuang by bus.
Day 4
Visit the treasure Chinese grottos----Mogao Grottos. Appreciate the Whistling Sand Hill, Moon Spring. Visit the historical museum to feel the fantastic cultures. In the afternoon, appreciate the urban sceneries. In the evening, go to Turfan by train.
Day 5
Arrive at Turfan in the morning. Admire the grand Mountain of Flames in distance. Afterwards, visit Gaochang Ancient Town, Wanfo Palace, Grape Valley and Karez. In the afternoon, return to Urumqi; along the journey, travelers can take a view of the biggest wind power plant of the world------Dabancheng wind power plant.
Day 6
Visit Tianchi Lake in the morning. The lake is like a crystal that embedded on the Tianshan Mountain, with lush vegetations and picturesque sceneries around. Then visit the local big market-----bazaar.
Day 7
Return to Hangzhou in the morning and finish the happy journey.
