Guangxi China International Travel Service (abbreviated to Guangxi CITS) was founded in 1954, whose former name is China International Travel Service Nanning Branch. It is one of the 13 earliest travel agencies in China. It is a member of China CITS group. It has over 100 experienced travel professionals and high-quality guides and interpreters who can speak English, French, German, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Lao, Russian and etc. Its staff was usually sent to overseas as interpreters in important occasions.

Guangxi CITS is a designated travel agency by China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) catering to overseas tourists. It is also one of the travel agencies franchised by the government to operate outbound tours. As an oldest travel agency in Guangxi, it has successfully handled a number of corporate travel as well as convention and incentive travel sponsored by famous enterprises and institutions. Such as 600 people visit Hongkong and Macao by train in 1999. Happy Senior People visit Hongkong and Macao by charter plane in 2001. Over 300 people visit North-east China organized by Guangxi People’s government in 2002; No. 1 tour group of Guangxi --- over 2000 people visit Beijing by charter train in 2003; Over 1500 people of Youth Robot Competition in Nanning in 2004.
