Detailed itinerary
Day 1 Nanning- Kunming
Gather at the bottom of the gigantic clock at Nanning Railway Station and take a train to the Spring City- Kunming.
Day 2 Kunming- Lijiang (B+L+D)
After arrival in Kunming in the morning, take a car to Lijiang. During this tour, lead you to enjoy the Old Town of Dali and experience the beautiful scenery in the Foreigners Quarter.
Day 3 Shangri-la (B+L+D)
After breakfast, coach to the mysterious and captivating Shangri-la. Next proceed to Tiger Leaping Gorge (RMB50/person, self-care), or Hutiaoxia in Chinese, is the Yangtze's best-known gorge, right after the Three Gorges in Sichuan and Hubei. Overlook the splendid the First Yangtze River Bay and have a visit to the charming Jidamu Grassland. After dinner, go to visit the Tibetan Village. The Tibetan builds their houses by wood with big sitting room and Buddhism hall. You can taste Tibetan specialties of yak butter tea, local yogurt and Tibetan barley.
Day 4 Shika Snow Mountain (B+L)
After breakfast, go to the Blue Moon Mountains Scenic spot covering snow-mountains, lakes, wild forest and meadow, etc. Then take the longest ropeway in Yunnan Province to the holy mountain in Tibet language- Shika Snow Mountain. After enjoying the most captivating sightseeing on the top of the mountain, next proceed to climb down the mountain and go back to Lijiang. Accompany you to visit Ganden Songzanlin Monastery. Songzanlin Monastery, the biggest monastery in Shangri-la, is built on a hill immitating the Potala Palace in Lhasa. In the evening, guide you to taste the special Nashi food and enjoy the happy hour in Lijiang wine bar.
Day 5 Lijiang
After breakfast go to visit the Ancient City of Lijiang Dayan which is a large area, and its center, known as Si Fang Jie (Square Street) is shaped like an official ink stone, hence its name Dayan Town (Ink Stone Town). After that, take a car to Chuxiong, on the way, have a visit to Erhai, and then lead to enjoy the lake sightseeing on the boat. Later enjoy a special tea of Pai ethnology and watch the performances of singing and dancing.
Day 6 Kunming (B+L)
After breakfast, drive you to visit the Green Lake Park- one of the 8 scenic spots in Dianzhong. Then accompany you to enjoy the symbolism of Kunming- Golden horse and green chicken factory, a cultural street with china and western towers and temples. After visiting the exhibition of Yunnan Puer, go to enjoy the Flower Market. In the end, go back to Nanning by train of the hard berth.
Day 7 Nanning
After arrival in Nanjing in the morning, you will be free.
