Day by day itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Urumqi by air. After meeting, you can have free activity at night.
Day 2 Urumqi-Korla
Leave Urumqi by the off-road vehicle in the morning to Korla. You can see Nanshan Pasture, NO.1 Glacier and Baluntai Yellow Temple on the road.
Day 3 Korla-Minfeng
After breakfast, traverse Taklimakan Desert by vehicle. You can admire Tugai forest and Tarim on the road. The vehicle will arrive in Minfeng at night, and then transfer to hotel.
Day 4 Minfeng-Yutian
Leave Minfeng for Yutian by vehicle in the morning, and then gather with desert guide and team. Set up a camp for the night.
Day 5
Continue the trip traverse the Desert.
Day 6 Keliya
Stay at Keliya for the whole day while you can get know their customs and life style.
Day 7 Keliya-Yutian
Go back to Yutian on the same way and transfer to hotel for rest.
Day 8 Yutian-Hetian
Leave Yutian for Hetian in the morning. You can visit Nation Dabaza and Silk Processing Workshop on the road. When arrived in Hetian, you can have free activity.
Day 9 Hetian-Kashkar
Go to Kashkar along the desert to have a look of Shachewangling Tomb and Amannishahan Tomb.
Day 10 Kashkar-Urumqi
Go to visit Xiangfei Tomb, the Mosque and Ancient City. Go back to Urumqi at night.
Day 11
Journey ends.
