College of Pharmacy, Guangxi Medical University is one the most important teaching units in Guangxi Medical University. It consists of 7 teaching and research sections (natural medicinal chemistry, pharmacognostics, organic chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacy, and pharmacokinetics) and one teaching experimental center. The pharmacology is one of the 6 doctoral programs of the university. And this discipline also has the right to confer master’s degree. Besides, the pharmaceutical chemistry has the right to confer master’s degree. In 2007, the foundation of mobile station for post-doctors of pharmacy has further proved the strength and scientific research ability of the college.
Currently, College of Pharmacy, Guangxi Medical University has 69 teaching and administrative staffs, of whom, 54 are teachers and 15 are technicians. Among the staffs, 26 are holders of senior technical titles, 23 are holders of medium technical titles and 70.4% of them have master’s degree or above.
College of Pharmacy actively carries out the scientific research activities. Currently, it has won 4 progress prizes in science and technology of Guangxi and 3 appropriate technology promotion prizes of medicine and health of Guangxi. And it has gained 11 national patents. The teachers of this college have compiled 11 teaching materials. Since 2004, College of Pharmacy has undertaken 46 scientific research projects of various types, such as projects financed by state natural sciences fund, project of Ministry of Science and Technology, etc. The total scientific research funding amounts to over 6 million yuan. And the scientific research achievements have created an output value of 40 million yuan.

Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree: Applicants must be under the age of 35 years, and in good physical condition, holding a non-China passport and having graduated from high school, academic records, have an HSK test score of grade 3 or above.
For Master’s degree: Applicants must be under 40 of age and in good physical condition, holding a non-China passport and a Bachelor’s degree, have 2 letters of recommendation from full professors or associate professors, have an HSK test score of level 5 or above.
For Doctoral degree:Applicants must be in good physical condition and under 45 of age in principle, holding a non-China passport and a Master’s degree, have an HSK test score of level 5 or above, have 2 letters of recommendation from full professors or associate professors, academic records.
