Day by day itinerary
Day 1 Nanjing-Urumqi
Leave Nanjing for Urumqi by air. After arrival, transfer to hotel to have a rest. Stay in Wushi for the night
Day 2 Wushi-Turfan
Leave Wushi for Turfan (about 250kms) where you can appreciate Xinjiang Dead Sea-Salt Lake and Asian biggest wind power generation station-Dabancheng Wind Power Generation Station on the road. After visit Flame Mountain, continue to visit jiaohe Ancient City, Uighur Old Village and the local special project-Karez. Later go to visit Grape Corridor and then return to Wushi by vehicle.
Day 3 Wushi-Heaven Pool
After breakfast, go to visit Tianshan Mountain and Heaven Pool by vehicle. After lunch, go back to Wushi.
Day 4 Wushi-Dunhuang
Leave Wushi for Dunhuang by vehicle to visit the world cultural heritage-Mogao Grottoes and then visit Mingshashan (Sound Sand Mountain) and Moon Spring. Later you can have a try of riding camel.
Day 5 Dunhuang-Jiayuguan
The train will arrive in Jiayuguan-Steel City in West China in the morning. Go to visit the far most west end of Great Wall. At night, transfer to Lanzhou by train.
Day 6 Lanzhou
Go to visit Mother Yellow River Statue, Zhongshan Bridge and White Pavilion Mountain. After finished, take plane back to Nanjing. Journey ends!
