Day 1 Nanjing/Beijing
Take a flight to Beijing. On arrival, the guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you. You will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax.
Day 2 Beijing
Take a half day guided visit to the biggest city square-----Tian’anmen Square, the Monument to the People's Heroes, the Chairman Mao's Memorial Hall and the 570 years old commercial street-----Qianmen Avenue.
Continue to explore the incredible Forbidden City with its grand palaces and courtyards. Built in 1420, it was here that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. Then you will visit the North Sea Park which is famous for its beautiful scenery. If you like, you can also visit the Mansion of Prince Gong at your own expense.
After seeing the lowering flag ceremony, you will have some free time to taste some delicious local snacks in the Donghua Gate Street.
Day 3 Beijing
You will take a half-day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China. Here you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along this seemingly endless piece of history, which winds its way into the far distance. In the afternoon, continue to the Ming Tomb, which due to their enormity took over 200 years to complete. After dinner you will enjoy a fascinating acrobatics Show at your own expense.
Day 4 Beijing
First visit the beautiful Summer Palace where you can discover gardens, palaces and pavilions with temples and halls in a tranquil, landscaped lakeside setting.
Then the coach will take you to the Yuanmingyuan Park, on the way you will watch the exterior scene of China Millennium Monument and the tower of CCTV.
You will also have the chance to explore the cloisonné work which has won an world fame as the flower of Chinese art.
Day 5 Beijing
Explore the Temple of Heaven which itself has become a symbol of the city. Here ancient emperors worshipped God and prayed for harvest. Continue to watch the exterior scene of the National Stadium and Water Cube.
