Detailed itinerary
Day 1 Nanjing- Urumqi
Leave for Urumqi by air. The guide will meet you at Minhang Building and lead you to register in the hotel.
Day 2 Urumqi- Turpan
After breakfast, drive to Turpan and visit the Asia largest wind power generation station- Dabancheng, overlook the scenery of Xinjiang Dead Sea. After arrival in Turpan, have a visit to the Ancient Gaochang City and Grapes Valley. In the evening, go back to Urumqi.
Day 3 Urumqi- the Heavenly Pool- Dunhuang
Go to the Heavenly Pool in the morning. It is a lake on the mountain with crystal clean water and lush vegetation around. Travelers can take the tour car in the scenery spot and admire the Bogurda Snow Mountain etc. Drive back to Urumuqi to visit the Tianshan Mountain Pharmaceutical House and evening go to Dunhuang by train.
Day 4 Dunhuang- Mogao Grottos
Morning, get off at Liuyuan Railway Station and the go to visit the world culture heritage- Mogao Grottos. After that, lead you to enjoy the desert wonders- Mingshan Mountain and Yueya Spring. Next proceed to Dunhuang phosphorescent jade cup factory. Then lodge in the hotel.
Day 5 Jiayuguan- Lanzhou
After breakfast, drive to Jiayuguan and enjoy the desert scenery. After arrival, have a visit to Guanchenglou and appreciate the lofty Great Wall. In the evening, go to Lanzhou by train.
Day 6 Lanzhou- Nanjing
After arriving in Lanzhou, enjoy the lofty Baita Mountain, the Yellow River Mother Statue, and ancient waterwheel. Next proceed to enjoy the Yellow River First Bridge- Zhongshan Iron Bridge. Then take train T118/115 or T114/111 to Nanjing.
Day 7 Nanjing
After arrival in Nanjing, you will be free and the tour ends.
