The scenery in Lushan Mountain scenic area is breathtaking. It is full of sheer peaks and precipices, changeable clouds and fogs, silver springs and flying waterfalls. The flora is diverse and comprises about 3,000 species. Features of glaciation during the Quaternary Period make Lushan Mountain even more mysterious.
Day by day itinerary
Day 1 Taiwan/Hong Kong-Nanchang
Take plane to Nanchang then transfer to hotel to have a rest. Go to visit one of the most three famous pavilion-Tengwang Pavilion, where you can have a wide view of Kan River. In the Tengwang Pavilion you can also appreciate the calligrapher written by Chairman Mao. Stay at Nanchang with lunch and supper.
Day 2 Nanchang-Lushan Mountain (about 150kms, 2.5hours)
After breakfast, go to visit the world cultural scenery site-Lushan Mountain, 1167meters above sea level. Many famous ancient poets like Li po, Su Shi, Baijuyi etc. all once traveled in this tourist site. With abundant rainfall and elegant green plants, Lushan Mountain became a famous summer resort. After finished, go to the bottom of the mountain to have a hot spring SPA. Stay at Lushan Mountain with three meals.
Day 3 Lushan-Jiujiang (about 20kms, 20 munities)-Jingdezhen (about 130kms, 1.5hours)
After breakfast, go to Jiujiang by vehicle to visit Xunyang Pavilion where you can see many states of “Water Margin”. Later, go to visit Yanshui Pavilion and Shizhongshan, the smallest pictographic characters of pictographs hill in China. After that, go to Jing De Zhen, the most famous place of making chinaware. Stay in Jing De Zhen with three meals.
Day 4 Jing De Zhen-Louyuan (about 1 hour)-Mount Huang (about 2.5 hours)
After breakfast, go to visit Jing De Zhen Chinaware Museum, and then walk around the chinaware street where you can buy your favored porcelain. After that, transfer to the most beautiful village in China-Louyuan. Later go to visit the ancient tribe-Li keng, Yushi ancestral hall and Rainbow Bridge, the oldest porch in China. After that, go to Mount Huang. It is said that you won't want to visit any other mountains after seeing wu yue but you won't wish to see even wu yue after returning from Mt. Huang. This saying may give you some idea of the beauty and uniqueness of Mt. Huang.
Day 5 Mt. Huang
Go to Mt. Huang scenery spot visit hot spring area and other scenery spot like Flying Stone, Bright Stage, etc. And you can also see Lion Peak, dream pen birth, cool and refreshing state, celestials backpacks, immortals chess and monkeys see sea, the light, flying stone, jade screen, etc, and to walk down the welcoming pine to Ciguang pavilion and hot springs, and then transfer to hotel to have a rest.
Day 6 Mt. Huang
After breakfast, go to Mt. Huang scenery spot again to visit a stream of Sky, Flying Stone, Lotus Peak, and Hong village. After walk down the Mountain, taste the local special products and wild products at free.
Day 7 Hangzhou
After breakfast, go to Hangzhou by vehicle. Then visit Lingying Temple, the oldest and biggest temple in Hangzhou. After that, you can watch large-scale performance of Song dynasty and appreciate the local craft goods.
Day 8 Hangzhou-Taipei
After breakfast, travel around the West Lake by boat to get close to this beautiful and peaceful lake and see Santanyinyue, Duanqiao, pinghu and new West Lake scenery etc. After that you can taste Longjing Tea for refreshment. After lunch, go to Hangzhou airport and take plane back to Taipei.
