Day 02Xian
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum in the morning. You may see the clay soldiers and horses of distinct facial expressions and positions orderly arranged in battle formations and the famous Bronze Chariots and Horses, as well as many delicate bronze weapons. Rather than the mass-produced food at the tourist eateries arranged by most agencies, we will offer you an a la carte lunch at the well-known best local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue your tour to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most representative attractions in Xian. The 64.5-meter-high (211.6 feet) pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty (about 1,300 years ago) to house the Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back form India. Not far from the pagoda, you will then come to one of the best museums in China, Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, to gain further insight into Chinese history and culture through the large collection of historical items. The local specialty Dumpling Dinner is served in the evening for you to enjoy. The traditional dumplings are meat and vegetables enclosed in white pastry and shaped into boats, but tonight you will have a taste of various shaped and colored dumplings with fillings of meat, vegetable, seafood and fruits.(B+L+D)

Day 03Departure from Xian
In the morning, visit another symbol of Xian, the City Wall, which is also the existing best-preserved ancient military fortress in China. You can also walk or rent a bicycle to ride around the city wall if time permits. Then you will have a local family visit with the authentic home-cooked lunch there. If interested, you can learn to cook your favorite Chinese dish with the host. The host will teach you patiently step by step and our guide will act as the translator then. In the afternoon, your visit continues to the Great Mosque, one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China, which merges traditional Chinese construction into the Islamic culture. The famous snack street, Muslim Street, is on the way to the mosque. You will find lots of mouthwatering local snacks and interesting souvenirs. After the day tour, our guide will transfer you to the airport for your return flight.(B+L)
