Guangxi University of Finance and Economics (GUFE) is situated in Nanning--- the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, renowned as the “Green City of China” for its lush tropical vegetation, occupying an area of 430 million square meters, and nearly 300 million square meters for the building site. The university is running digital campus programs, such as complete campus network, information management system in library, frequency modulation platform for foreign language teaching, OAS, and so on. GUFE is a multi-disciplinary university providing undergraduate courses of finance, economics and management as major fields while harmoniously developing with liberal arts, science. GUFE has a teaching and working staff of more than 1,100; among which nearly 300 are full and associate professors; over 40% teaching staff has master or doctor degree. There are 14,000-odd full-time students and 12,000-odd adult students. The university has currently the following 17 teaching institutes and divisions: Dept. of Economics, Dept. of International Economics and Trade, Dept. of Finance, Dept. of Banking, Dept. of Foreign Languages, Dept of Computer Science and Information Management, Dept. of Industrial and Commercial Management, Dept. of Accounting, Dept. of Law, Dept. of Mathematics and Statistics, Dept. of Cultural Communication, International Education Center, Teaching Office of Social Science, Teaching Office of Fundamental Courses and Teaching Office of sports, Continuing Institute, Office of Modern Educational Technology, Library. GUFE offers 25 major fields of four-year study for undergraduates: International Economics and Trade, Finance, Banking, Industrial and Commercial Management, Accounting etc. and 23 three-year study for specialties: Computer Application, Assets Evaluation and Management, Assets Evaluation and Management, Accounting and Auditing, Business Marketing, Electronic Commerce and so on.
Taking educating people as the main target, along with emphasizing subject development and infrastructures, the university positively promotes the development of education consistently, efficiently and healthily. At present, there are Finance, Accounting, Banking and Management, which are the key subjects of the Province. Moreover, there are financing science lab, ERP lab, and Guangxi Finance and Banking Research Centre, three key research bases of the Province. Besides, the university further reforms the teaching research. In recent years, the university has won 7 state projects, 7 provincial projects; 23 awards of provincial level; 2045 academic papers published by staff; chiefly and co-edited 45 teaching materials, and published 42 monographs.
Aiming at establishing the provincial-level Model Unit, the university has made great achievements in the practice, service and improved the over-all capacity of the students. Since 2004, the students of GUFE have won the copper award in the China University Business Plan Competition, National top 10 league in the China Adolescents Innovation Contest, First Prize in the CCTV national colleague student English Speech Contest and the Honor of merit for the higher educational institution; and has awarded for many times the Model Unit of social practice activity by the Central Propaganda Department (of the Chinese communist party), Chinese Communist Young League and All-China Student Federation.
GUFE vigorously enters into a good relationship with 11 universities from Vietnam, Britain, France, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. GUFE has recruited over 600 students in the program cooperated with Greenwich University (UK) and Clermont-Ferrand University 1(France) from 2006. With the development of China -ASEAN Free Trade Area, GUFE will further expand the cooperation with institutes and universities from ASEAN.

Courses Arrangement:
1. Linguistic students: Chinese reading; Oral course, Listening course, Grammar course ;Handwriting. Course. And guidance course for HSK examination.
2. Undergraduate: Specialized courses are similar to those of Chinese students and studied together with Chinese students.
Diploma: Students are awarded relative diploma by the college after finishing their courses and passing through the examination.
