Tour schedule:
Day 1:
Hotel pick-up at 7:00am by our well-trained English-speaking tour guide & driver, then drive to the Huangyaguan Great Wall (2.5 hours drive) in Ji county, Tianjin. Upon arrival, hike on the west and east sections of the wall for 2 hours. Then enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, drive another 3 hours to get to Laolongtou– known as the "Old Dragon's Head" as well as the gateway to central China from the northeast. You will be escorted on the Laolongtou Great Wall for 40 minutes. After your hike, you will check into a local 3-Star hotel next to Shanhaiguan Pass.
Dinner will take place at the hotel.
Meal: Lunch + Dinner
Day 2:
After having breakfast (8:00 am), you will walk directly to Shanhaiguan Pass– the pass connecting the Old Dragon's head and the rest of the Great Wall. You will hike, with an escort, on Shanhaiguan for 40 minutes then come back to the hotel to check-out and depart for the Jiaoshan Great Wall (20 minutes driving distance). This is the only section of the Great Wall that overlooks the ocean, you will hike at Jiaoshan for 2-3 hours. After having a late lunch, you will be driven back to Beijing. Arrive at your Beijing hotel/apartment at approximately 6:00pm.

A. Hotel: the hotel you will stay in is a high quality 3-Star hotel, centrally located in the town. Like many other 3-Star hotels, it has a western bathroom, 24-hour hot water, free tooth brush, shampoo, etc, all available. Be sure to bring your passport!
B. Our Guide will accompany you on the wall the entire time.
C. Hiking on the wall will be extensive, so please be sure to drink plenty of water and wear appropriate shoes (two pairs). Hiking shoes are highly recommended.
