Sino-international MBA at Jinan University，abbreviated SiMBA：Its Educational system is 2 years full-time studying. Its students include both Chinese and oversea. English is its teaching language. In order to encourage the studies and reward the hardship of MBA students, Jinan University offers Freshmen Scholarship, GMAT/GRE scholarship,TOEFL/IELTS scholarship and Elite Scholarship to second-year MBA students.

2. Details of the Scholarships:
A. Domestic Freshmen Scholarship
a First Prize: Only for one candidate who ranks the 1st in final result；
b Second Prize: For four candidates who rank the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th in final result;
c Third Prize: For eight candidates who rank from 6th to 13th in final result.
Eligibility：
1) Domestic freshmen mentioned here only refer to newly registered mainland students, exclusive of those from Hong Kong, Macao,Taiwan, overseas Chinese and foreign students.
2) Only those regularly registered in the very year for full-time MBA program(SiMBA) are qualified for domestic freshmen Scholarship. Those who maintain the school rolls are unqualified.
3) The final result is composed of the entrance interview and examination result, in which interview result( including academic background, working experience, language test result and other relevant materials) takes 60%, while entrance examination, 40%.
B. Overseas Freshmen Scholarship
a First Prize: Only for one candidate who ranks the 1st in final result；
b Second Prize: For four candidates who rank the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th in final result;
c Third Prize: For eight candidates who rank from 6th to 13th in final result.
Eligibility：
1) Oversea freshmen mentioned here only refer to newly registered Hong Kong, Macao,Taiwan, overseas Chinese and foreign students.
2) Only those regularly registered in the very year for full-time MBA program(SiMBA) are qualified for overseas freshmen Scholarship. Those who maintain the school rolls are unqualified.
3) The final result is composed of the interview and entrance examination result, in which interview result( including academic background, working experience, language test result and other relevant materials) takes 60%, while entrance examination, 40%.
C. GMAT/GRE Scholarship
Three candidates with top three GMAT or GRE result should get GMAT/GRE Scholarships。
Eligibility:
1) Only those regularly registered in the very year for full-time MBA program(SiMBA) are qualified for GMAT/GRE Scholarship. Those who maintain the school rolls are unqualified.
2) Those candidates who meet the requirements should submit GMAT or GRE exam to MBA center of Jinan University within or before August, and the exam must be within five years.
3) GMAT score must be 500 or above, while GRE 1800 or above.
4) Three candidates with top three GMAT or GRE result should be the winners of this scholarship. Applicants with the same score and their score within the top three should equally distribute the prize.
5) If one candidate submit both GMAT and GRE exam, he/ she may only get GMAT or GRE scholarship.
6) If one candidate submit GMAT exam and the other submit GRE exam, it is the Admission Committee who finally decide who will be the winner.
D. TOEFL/IELTS Scholarship
Ten candidates with top ten TOEFL or IELTS results should get TOEFL/IELTS Scholarships。
Eligibility:
1) Only those regularly registered in the very year for full-time MBA program(SiMBA) are qualified for TOEFL/IELTS Scholarship. Those who maintain the school rolls are unqualified.
2) Those candidates who meet the requirements should submit TOEFL or IELTS exam to MBA center of Jinan University within or before August, and the exam must be within three years.
3) TOFEL iBT must be 80 or above, while IELTS 6 or above.
4) Ten candidates with top ten TOEFL or IELTS result should be the winners of this scholarship. Applicants with the same score and their score within the top ten should equally distribute the prize.
5) If one candidate submit both TOELF and IELTS exam, he/ she may only get TOEFL or IELTS scholarship.
6) If one candidate submit TOELF exam and the other submit IELTS exam, it is the Admission Committee who finally decide who will be the winner.
E.SiMBA Elite Scholarship
a. First prize: Only for one second-year full-time MBA student who ranks the first.
b. Second prize: For two second-year full-time MBA students who rank second and third.
c. Third prize: For four second-year full-time MBA students who rank 4th , 5th, 6th and 7th.
Eligibility:
1) Only second-year full-time MBA students of Jinan University are qualified for SiMBA Elite Scholarship. Those who maintain the school rolls are unqualified.
2) Respecting the laws and regulation of the University and setting a good example around classmates accounts for 10%; the average score of the first year accounts for 80%; and the evaluation of the teachers accounts for 10%.
This scholarship scheme works from July 2013.
Scholarships donated by alumni and entrepreneurs are not included in this scholarship scheme. Final interpretation of this scholarship scheme and final decision of the winners is a right reserved by the MBA center of Jinan University.
