Chinese Language Programs for International Students
Chinese people in different provincial regions speak Chinese with a heavy local accent. The official Chinese language, formally known as, Mandarin, originated in Changchun. The people of Changchun speak Chinese without any accent. It means, it has the standard intonation. Mandarin, after the Liberation, was designated by the government as Putonghua. Thus, for foreigners, Changchun is the most ideal location to learn Putonghua.

Our Chinese language teachers are well-experienced in teaching foreign students for many years. Most of them have the “Certificate of Qualification for Teaching Chinese Language” to foreigners, issued by the Education Ministry of China. Our Chinese Language Department was conferred the title of “Advance Instruction”, a coveted honor among the academic community in Jilin province, by the Education Department of Jilin Province.

International students who have matriculated in our school were from Australia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Mongolia, Pakistan, Romania, Turkey, the United States and Zimbabwe. After studying in our university, some of our foreign students remained in China to pursue further studies. Others, found lucrative jobs related to the Chinese language after they have returned to their home countries.
