School of Business Administration工商管理学院
Established in Apr. 1995, the School of Business Administration now has three departments, one institute and an experiment center, namely, Department of Management, Department of Economy and Trade, Department of Accounting & Finance and Institute of Petroleum Economy. It offers 1 PhD program in Petroleum Engineering Management; 7 master programs in Management Science & Technology, Enterprise Management, Technical Economics & Management, Accounting, Finance, Economic Law and Industrial Economics; 6 Bachelor programs in International Economics and Trade, Marketing, Accountancy, Business Administration, Information Management and System, Finance Management. There is a faculty of 60, including 12 full professors, 16 associate professors and 25 lecturers. 92% of the faculty members obtain their Master or Doctor’s degree. The present students of this school include 285 postgraduates, 910 undergraduates and 86 international students.
The school is very active in domestic and international collaboration, such as the three key national petroleum corporations, their affiliated institutions and many foreign universities in the world. It has conducted 13 terms of training program on international advanced managers for Aktyubinsk Oil Field in Kazakstan. The Energy MBA joint project with Calgary University in Canada is carrying through smoothly.
