Day by day itinerary
Day 1 Guiyang-Chengdu
Leave Guiyang to Chengdu by the flight CA4442 (21:30-22:30)
Day 2 Chengdu-Lhasa
Leave Chengdu for Lhasa by the flight CA4495 (06:00-07:50) and transfer to Lhasa downtown where on the road you can admire the ancient Tibetan cottages. After arrived in downtown, transfer to hotel to adjust the environment.
Day 3
Go to visit the landmark of Tibet-the Patala Palace, built in Sontzen Gampo era, it’s the world-famous cultural heritage. Later you can visit Jokhang Temple, with a history of 1350, the oldest temple in Lhasa. After that, you can have a free walk on Barkhor Street, in which converges all pilgrims from the country. On Barkhor Street you can have a panoramic view of Tibetan life. Stay in Lhasa with three meals.
Day 4
Go to visit the most important Tibetan sacred lake-Yanmdrok Lake. It Tibetan it means “swan lake”. It’s the biggest inner lake of Himalaya area. After that, go back to Lhasa. Stay in Lhasa with three meals.
Day 5
After breakfast, go to Yangpachen to feel the hot springs surrounded by mountains. Stay in Shigatse with three meals.
Day 6 Shigatse-Lhasa
After breakfast, go to visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, in Tibetan it means “propitious mountain”, built in 1447, where visitors can visit the biggest indoor Buddha (26meters high). After that, go back to Lhasa on the road along Brahmaputra valley and you can admire the scenery. Stay in Lhasa with three meals.
Day 7 Lhasa-Chengdu-Guiyang
Take plane back to Chengdu and transfer to Guiyang to end this happy journey.
