Day by day itinerary
Day 1 Guiyang-Chengdu
Leave Guiyang for Chengdu by the train K922 and stay in the train for the night.
Day 2 Chengdu
The train will arrive in Chengdu at 09:44, and then you can have free activities here.
Day 3 Chengdu-Lhasa
Leave Chengdu for Lhasa and transfer to the downtown. Adjust yourself to the environment.
Day 4 Lhasa
Go to visit the landmark of Tibet-the Patala Palace, built in Sontzen Gampo era, it’s the world-famous cultural heritage. Later you can visit Jokhang Temple, with a history of 1350, the oldest temple in Lhasa. After that, you can have a free walk on Barkhor Street, in which converges all pilgrims from the country. On Barkhor Street you can have a panoramic view of Tibetan life. Stay in Lhasa with three meals.
Day 5 Lhasa
Stay in Lhasa for free activities.
Day 6 Shigatse
Go to Shigatse by bus and visit the Yangdork Lake. Stay in Shigatse for the night.
Day 7
After breakfast, go to visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, in Tibetan it means “propitious mountain”, built in 1447, where visitors can visit the biggest indoor Buddha (26meters high). After that, go back to Lhasa on the road along Brahmaputra valley and you can admire the scenery. Stay in Lhasa with three meals.
Day 8
Take plane back to Chengdu and transfer to Guiyang to end this happy journey.
Day 9
The train will arrive in Guiyang at 07:38. Journey end!
