1. Overview
Guangdong Pharmaceutical University (GDPU) is one of the three pharmaceutical Universities in China with independent organizational system. GDPU is a popular institution of higher learning. The university is among the first universities to be stationed in Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center as one of the top ten famous universities. It is an important base cultivating exclusive talents and leading cadres in the sciences of pharmacy, preventive medicine and clinical medicine in Guangdong Province. It is a training center of national registered pharmacists, an important base of continuing education in medical setups and a legal pharmaceutical unit for CMA measurement and authentication in Guangdong province. The university has been accredited to run postgraduate programs and to award master’s degrees. It enrolls students from the country and foreign countries.
2. Enrollment Requirements
1. Senior High School Graduates or above (Bachelor degree holders can also apply for the postgraduate programs of our university.)
2. Willing to abide by the student status management regulations and related regulations of the university.
3. Enjoy good health.
4. Non-criminal record.
5. Foreign students must have good reading, listening, writing and speaking abilities of Chinese and can read Chinese textbooks. HSK 6 is required for liberal arts, economy, management students; and HSK 3 or above is required for science, engineering and medical students. Students can study the Chinese program of our university, reach required level of HSK of People’s Republic of China and apply for programs of our university.
3. Materials Needed for Application
(1) Proofs of educational diplomas or certificates and score reports
(2) HSK-6 or HSK-3 Certificate
(3) Photocopies of passport
(4) Health certificate
(5)10 pieces of recent photos (33mm*48mm)
(6) RMB 430 yuan for registration fee
After the verification of our university, the matriculated students may be issued the “Entrance Notice” and “JW 202 Form” by our university. They may apply to Chinese Embassy for the student visas with the “Entrance Notice” and “JW 202 Form”.
4. Tuition Fee and Accommodation Fee
(1) Tuition fee (in RMB yuan):
Students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan: 5280 RMB yuan/school year/person
Foreign students: 16,500 RMB yuan/school year/person
(2)Accommodation fee (in RMB yuan):
Single-bed room: 10,000 RMB yuan /room/school year
Double-bed room: 4,000 RMB yuan /room/school year
(3) The food, medical and traffic expenses during the learning period should be upon the students’ part.
