Hebei University Humanities College was set up in October 2000 by the Department of Chinese Literature, History Department, and Institute for the merger of ancient books.
Humanities college has set up a Chinese Language and Literature, Foreign Language, Chinese classical literature and historical study Undergraduate study 4, with Chinese language and literature and historical study two disciplines post doctorate level, the ancient Chinese literature, language study Chinese language, Chinese Ancient History, Modern Chinese History 4 doctorate authorized point, the ancient Chinese literature, language study Chinese language, Chinese contemporary literature, literary study, learn Chinese classical literature, Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, Comparative Literature and World Literature, Chinese Ancient History, Modern Chinese History, specialized history, world history, such as 11 master's degree authorization point. Ancient Chinese literature, Chinese history has been at home with subjects greater impact on Modern Chinese History, Chinese language study, Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature and other disciplines at a leading position in Hebei Province.
In the long-term teaching and research in Chinese ancient poetry, music and lyrics study, the ancient Chinese literary criticism, ancient Chinese novels, learn Chinese classical literature, History of the Song Dynasty, China's modern cultural history of thought, China's modern social and economic history, the history of the Republic of China research direction, developed their own advantages and characteristics.
College of Humanities has a reasonable structure, strong, rigorous academic teachers. A full-house 84 existing professional teachers, of whom 25 were professors, 18 associate professor and PhD supervisor of 13 people, Master's mentor 39 people. The total number of 1110 students, of whom 29 were doctoral students, 400 graduate students, undergraduates 681 people. College of humanities have Chinese, history and the three library books, possession of "Si Ku Quan Shu", "Series 4", "prepare to 4," "books made the early integration" and other large series, the total collection of more than 200,000, various types of periodicals, hundreds of newspapers.
