Tour schedule:
Day 1: arrive in Beijing
Airport pick-up by our tour guide & private car/van, then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free on your own.

Day2: City tour
Hotel check-out & pick-up at 8:30 am, then drive to the Tiananmen Square where the full day tour starts. Touring at Square for 30 minutes, then continue walking through Tiananmen Gate to the Forbidden City– a place where 24 emperors lived in for 490 years. Followed by lunch after 1.5 hours visit in the Forbidden City.
In the afternoon, visit the Summer Palace– the largest imperial garden in the existence in China. After one hour visit, drive to the Temple of Heaven – the place where for emperors in the Ming and Qing Dynasties to prayer for good harvest.
Later on, transfer back to the hotel. Dinner on your own

Day 3: Hutong tour + Great Wall Hiking
Hotel check-out & pick-up at 8:00 am, then drive to the traditional part of Beijing called Hutong, where to take rickshaw tour. The tour includes: climb up to the 700-year old bell tower where may offer a bird-view of the Hutong area, many small Hutong alleys visit, as well as a local family visit and enjoy free talks with host/hostess.
Later on, drive for 2 hours to get to Simatai Great Wall. Upon arrival, lunch in the courtyard restaurant first. Then enjoy hiking for 4 hours from Simatai to Jinshanling.
Upon arrival at Jinshanling, check into the local courtyard hotel (3-star level). Resting for a while, then dinner will arranged at 6:30 pm.
Note: if you'd like, camping at the base of the Great Wall Jinshanling could be substituted, quotation maintains same.

Day 4: Great wall hiking + Lama Temple + Confucius Temple
If you get up early and weather permits, you may hike up to the wall and enjoy beautiful sunrise. Breakfast starts at 7:30 am. Hotel check-out and leave for more hiking from Jinshanling to Gubeikou (3-4 hours). Upon arrival at Gubeikou, be picked up by our driver. Then lunch.
In the afternoon, drive back to the city to visit the famous Lama Temple – Tibetan Buddhism, the largest lamasery in Beijing. After 1 hour visit, continue walking 10 minutes to nearby Confucius Temple – the greatest philosopher in China.
Be transferred back to the hotel in late afternoon. Dinner on your own.

Day 5: Departure
Hotel check-out & pick-up based on your flight details. Then transfer to the airport to catch your flight for home/next destination. Service ends!

A. There are more than 4 million vehicles in Beijing, and it is said that approximately 30,000 cars are sold every month, so heavy traffic is constant in the city (Rush Hours from 7:30-9:30 in the morning and 16:30-19:30 in the afternoon). We will try our best to tour according to the timetable, but we cannot guarantee that traffic will not delay our schedule. Our tour guide will notify you if a delay occurs.
B.There will be an extended amount of walking during this tour, therefore it is recommended that you wear sport shoes and clothes which are suitable for outdoor activities.
C. If camp at Jinshanling, it might be a bit cold in the evening and early morning, warm clothes are recommended to bring some.
