School of Public Administration consists of 2 departments, 1 center and 1 Institute, which are Department of Public Administration, Department of Sociology, MPA Education Center, and Institute of Administrative Management. There are 4 undergratuate specialities which respectively are Administrative Management, Public Administration, Social Work and Public Relations. Among these 4 specialities, Administrative Management is Jiangxi Provincial Brand Speciality. This school has the authorization to award Master’s Degree in 1 first class discipline，3 second class disciplines as well as the Professional Master’s Degree in Publica Aaministration.

There are 68 full-time teachers in this school with 17 professors and 19 associate professors, of whom 2 are Doctorate students’ supervisors and 36 are postgraduate students’ supervisors. Teachers who were awarded the senior professional titles count 53% of the total. At present, there are 893 full-time undergratuate students and 128 postgratuate students. This shool is well equipped with a Secretary and Office Automation laboratory, Social Work Demonstration Room, 8 undergratuate students teaching and internship bases, a library with 20,000 books and 50 various kinds of journals.
