Founded in 1980, Shool of Law of NCU consists of Department of Law, Education Center of Juris Master, Institute of Law, Legislation Research Center of NCU (Jiangxi Provincial Legislation Research Center).

In 2003, the speciality of Law was judged as the Provincial Brand Speciality; Criminal Law, Administrative Law and Administrative Litigation Law, and Criminal Procedural Law were judged as excellent courses at provincial and shool level. Under the discipline of Law, there are 7 specilities were authoritized to award Master’s Degree, which are Criminal Law, Civil and Commercial Law, Economic Law, International Law, Litigation Law,Constitutional and Administrative law and legal history. Besides, Shool of Law of NCU also was authoritized to award the Professional Degree in Law.

The shool has a rational-organized teaching stuff which taking the middle-aged and youth teachers as the backbone. There are 47 full-time teachers in this school, 11 of them are professors and 15 are associate professors, and with 34 of the total holding Master’s Degree or above. At present, 885 undergratuate students and 324 postgratuate students are stuyding in the Shool of Law.
