A: Application
Applicants may apply directly to Office of International Students and ask for Application Form for International Students at Northeast Dianli University, or download Application Form from the homepage of Northeast Dianli University.
1. Qualification of Applicants
Bachelor Degree:
Graduation of senior high school; Band 4 (HSK);
Master Degree:
Bachelor or university graduation; Band 4 (HSK); two recommendations letters (associate professors or higher);
Doctoral Degree:
Master; Band 4 (HSK); two recommendations letters (associate professors or higher);
Chinese Language Student:
At least graduation of senior high school; No limit (HSK);
2. Application time
Bachelor Degree: From March 15th to June 30th
Master and Ph.D. Degree:
Spring semester: From September 15 to December 31;
Fall semester: From March 15 to June 30;
3. Materials for Application
Undergraduate students:
• Application Form for International Students at Northeast Dianli University
• Certificate of highest academic degree obtained and transcript of academic record.
•Band 4 or above certificate of HSK examination
•Physical examination record for foreigners
•A copy of the applicant’s passport with photo page
Graduate students:
• Application Form for International Students at Northeast Dianli University
• Certificate of highest academic degree obtained and transcript of academic record.
•Band 4 or above certificate of HSK examination
• A copy of the applicant’s passport with photo page
• Two recommendations letters (associate professors or higher)
Chinese Language students:
• Application Form for International Students at Northeast Dianli University
•Last schooling certificate and schooling records
•Physical examination record for foreigners
• A copy of the applicant’s passport with photo page
The above materials should be written in English or in Chinese, or attached with translation in either of the two languages.
B. Enrollment
The applicants should bring Passport, Admission Notice, Visa Application Form, the Form of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners and Blood Test Record to the embassy and consulates of the People’s Republic of China in respective countries and apply for an X visa.
Students must register before the deadline at office of International Students and get the Residence Permit within 30 days after they enter China.
C. Years of degree study
Bachelor’s degree program: 4 years
Master’s degree program: 2-3 years
Doctoral degree program: 3-4 years
Chinese Language student: 1 semester to 2 years
D. Tuition and Fees (IN RMB)
1. Application Fee: 400 Yuan
2. Tuition fee per year:
Bachelor’s degree: 15200 Yuan
Master’s degree: 19200 Yuan
Doctoral degree: 24000 Yuan
Chinese Language student: 10400 Yuan
3. Insurance
The students who study at NEDU more than one semester may purchase medical insurance for hospitalization and accident injury. The premium is RMB 600 Yuan per year or 400 Yuan per half-year.
E. Housing
Hotel on campus:
•5$ per day per person---2 persons sharing one regular room
•3$ per day per person ---2 persons sharing one regular room
Apartments off campus:
•2.5$ per -----1 sitting room, two bed rooms, one kitchen and one bathroom.
Note: The actual housing expenses may vary.
F. Food
Students can have meals at university cafeteria at their own expense.
