Undergraduate Admissions
International students who wish to pursue a Bachelor’s degree at Yangtze University must have graduated from secondary school and have taken one year Chinese language courses or passed new HSK examination (Level 4 or above for liberal arts programs, level 3 or above for other programs). An applicant must submit:
1. Yangtze University Application Form
2. Secondary school certificate/Official transcript of senior high school
3. Photocopy of passport
4. Financial Affidavit of Support
International students who want to pursue Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) at Yangtze University must have graduated from secondary school and can apply for English medium courses of clinical medicine if they are native English speakers.
An applicant must submit:
1. Yangtze University Application Form
2. Secondary school certificate/Official transcript of senior high school
3. Photocopy of passport
4. Financial Affidavit of Support
Application Deadlines
Application files are sent better before:
July 15 for fall semester
January 15 for spring semester
All required documents should be sent by applicants or the authorized agents to:

Yangtze University
The application for admission will be reviewed as soon as all documents are received. The results of the applications will be informed via email one week after the required documents are received.
When applicants are accepted, the Office of International Exchange & Cooperation, Yangtze University will send the applicants:
a. Yangtze University Admission notice
b. Foreign Students Application Forms for entry visa to China (JW 202 Form)
International students admitted to Yangtze University must hold the admission notice, JW 202 Forms and other documents for entry visas to Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their countries.
When arriving at Yangtze University, the international students must submit:
a. Admission notice
b. JW 202 form
c. Passport
d. 8 photos
e. Original transcript and school certificate/diploma
GRADUATE ADMISSIONS
International students who wish to pursue Master’s/doctoral degree at Yangtze University must have had Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and have taken one year Chinese language courses or passed new HSK examination (Level 4 or above). To apply for admission an applicant must submit:
1. Yangtze University Application Form
2. Degree certificate /Official transcript of higher learning institution
3. Photocopy of passport
4. Financial Affidavit of Support
5. Personal statement and letters of recommendation

CHINESE LANGUAGE TRAINING
International students who want to apply for long term or short term Chinese language training courses at Yangtze University must submit:
1. Yangtze University Application Form
2. School certificate/Official transcript
3. Photocopy of passport
4. Comprehensive insurance documentation
5. Physical Examination Record for Foreigners (for more than 6 months study)
Note: Item 4-5 can be allowed to make either in home country before departure or in China after arrival.
