School of Mechatronic Engineering and Automation boasts a strong faculty, headed by Prof. Zhuang Songlin, Academician of Chinese Engineering Academy, with 6 state-accredited experts, 32 PhD supervisors, 41 professors, and 103 associate professors. At present, there are over 3000 undergraduates, 900 graduates and PhD candidates pursuing their study in SMEA.
The school provides seven Bachelor’s programs in Mechanical Engineering & Automation, Measurement Technology & Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, Packaging Engineering, Automation, and Electrical Engineering. They also provide 10 Master’s programs in Control Theory and Control Engineering, Mechanical Electrical Engineering and so on. One first-tier Doctoral program is offered in Mechanical Engineering while 6 second-tier Doctoral programs are offered in Mechanical Manufacturing & Automation, Mechanical Design & Theory, Mechanical Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Control Theory & Control Engineering, and Power Electronics & Electrical Transmission. The school also has two post-doctoral mobile stations in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
The school has set up a dozen municipal key disciplines such as Mechanical Manufacturing Automation, Industrial Automation, Electric Machine and its Control, Mechanical Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetic Measurement & Instrument, Mechanical Part & Modern Mechanical Design, etc. At present, it is actively engaged in developing key leading discipline of Advanced Robot & Automation Technology, and key specialized discipline of Instrument & Electrical Automation. Disciples of Advanced Manufacturing & Automation Technology, which is a 211 Development Project, are underway. So far, the school has been granted over 30 national and provincial scientific achievement awards and seen a productive publication of near 1000 papers.
Students graduated from the school may find their career path in well-known enterprises in electronic, communications, IT, automobile, home appliances industries or in government offices, research or design institutes, financial institutions, insurance, trade, etc. For years, their graduates have been well-received by employers.

Entry requirements
The applicants should prepare the HSK 4 certificate, graduation certificate and score report. The students applying for Master’s and Doctoral degree should prepare 2 recommendation letters.
