TUITION AND LIVING EXPENSES
In order to encourage overseas students to receive higher education in our university, we have offered the preferential tuition and living expenses. The standard charges are as follows
Tuition: USD1800/ year (undergraduate students)
USD2500/year (graduate students)
USD4000/year (doctorate students)
Application fee: USD30 (mail to the Office of International Students of NUST together with application documents)
To encourage excellent international students and students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese, the university has set up scholarship. You can contact the Office of International Students about the condition of application and about the method of assessment.
Short-term class for Chinese & Culture: USD200/two weeks and USD70 for one more week
Language Training Class: USD900/ per semester
USD1800/ per school year
Office of International Students is responsible for the enrollment and management of international students, overseas Chinese students and students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Students who are interested in studying at NUST are welcome to contact us about matters related to enrollment.

Lodging and Board
We have housing for international students and students form Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese. Each dormitory has individual toilet, air-conditioner, TV set, telephone, water heater, furniture and beddings and is shared by two. The accommodation fee is USD3/per day for a bed and USD6/ per day for a single room (Electricity charges are excluded).
Room management & service fee: RMB400 (about USD50) for the first year and RMB200 (about USD25) for the following years
International students can find lodgings outside the campus when approved by our university.
Board expenses range from RMB15 to RMB20 per day (about USD2 or 3).
