Chinese Language and Culture Programs
Each semester，QDC will organize language/culture classes at elementary，intermediate and advanced levels. Students are to be placed in classes which suit them best by taking a proficiency test. A class is usually composed of 10-20 students. The Spring semester starts around early March and the Autumn semester in early September. A semester usually consists of 18 weeks. Each week students may have 20 class hours of language courses and there are also various elective courses for students to choose. Field trips are arranged each semester.

1) Above18 year’s old, high school graduated, good health.
2) Advanced courses students need to provide HSK3 or higher certificate, or through the equivalent exam organized by QDC.
Short term Chinese Language and Culture Programs
QDC also runs short-term programs for groups of International students all year round. Courses can be specially designed upon request. Individual short-term students are accepted and placed in appropriate classes.

Tips
Application Procedures
1. Fill in application form for admission to QDC, Fill in application form in detail especially name, passport number, birthday, address, contact, major and length of study. Typing on a computer is suggested. Please make sure the script is clear if you need to fill it by hand.
2. Submit the completed application form，copy of passport，2 photos(35mm x 45mm) with white background, copies of diplomas or certificates and the physical examination record to the Admission Office of International Office of QDC. You can email us the copy material with “application” as the email topic. Application by fax, letter or office visit is also acceptable.
3. After qualification check, we will make the admission notice and visa application form (Jw202), submit them to the city government for approval. The Admission Notice and the form of（JW202 form）will be mailed to the applicant according to the address in your application form as soon as they are ready. Usually it takes 25-40 days to receive the documents after your application is qualified. We will notify you of the qualification-check result by email/telephone.
4．Bring in person your passport, photos, admission notice, JW202 form and visa application form to apply for a student visa(X visa, it should be changed into residence permit within 30 days after entry) or visitor visa(F visa, it can be changed into residence permit before expiry) at Chinese Embassy or Consulate in applicant’s home country．Physical examination report and other documents might be required in some countries. You can do it in a local qualified hospital and bring all original health check reports to QDC for visa change.
5.Bring your passport, original physical examination record (if there is), 10 two-inch photos, admission notice, visa application form (JW202), graduation certificate and HSK certificate (if there is) to International Office of QDC for registration on dates stipulated in admission notice. Please come to International Office of
QDC as soon as you come to China or your visa might run out before it is extended.
Insurance
QDC requires all international students to have sufficient medical insurance throughout the duration of study. At minimum, the insurance must cover accidents and hospitalization. Students can either buy the insurance before coming to China or buy it in China.
Additional Information
1. There are also direct flights from Qingdao to main big cities in the world. As a modern city，Qingdao is equipped with advanced facilities, including convenient bus，train and airline systems，modern shopping centers and excellent medical services are also available.
2.When international students come to Qin Dao College for the first time，in case of need，they will be met at Qingdao Liu Ting airport. They will be accommodated in the International student dormitories during their stay．
3. All international students will be offered certificates after they complete the academic requirement according to different student types.

Accommodation
The new dormitory for international students is close to the students’ classroom buildings. Each room have two beds (one bed for single room), water closet，bathroom（shower），central heating and internet access.
The single room cost is RMB80/day/room
The double room cost is RMB40/day/bed
