The Major of Law in Hunan Normal University began at 1993. In 1996 the College of Law was established, and in 2002, it amalgamated the College of Politics and Law Administrative Cadre. While exporting talents and training the original Teachers Resource of law, the College combines some important education resources of law. The professional teachers, professors and some experts form a high-qualified teaching group of logical age configuration, harmonious role proportion, abundant teaching experience, strong scientific research ability.
The Discipline of International Law attaches great importance on teaching and scientific research. The College exactly pays attention to the combination of theory and practice, currently having got a serious important research achievement. The College has established academic exchange relationships with a lot of colleges and scientific research institutes, and has hosted annual conferences such as China International Private Law Institute Conference and etc. It also has published some academic publications such as “Modern Law” and “International Law and Comparative Law Discuss”.
The College values the construction of teaching and scientific research infrastructure. Now the mass media classrooms, computer rooms, law case analysis room and multi function stimulant court, systematic information reference room are all existed in this college. And there are 210, 000 kinds of monographs and more than 200 kinds of newspapers and journals are collected in the library of the College.

Application time
The University usually enrolls students in spring and autumn. A new term begins at the end of February or at the beginning of March in spring. In autumn, classes begin in early September. Applicants may request application forms from the International Office of the university one to four months in advance
Entry requirements
For Bachelor’s degree: the applicants should have high school diploma or above, academic records, in good health and HSK6 certificate.
For Master’s degree: the applicants should have Bachelor’s degree or above, academic records, passing the Master graduate entrance examination, in good health and HSK6 certificate.
For Doctoral degree:the applicants should have Master’s degree or above, academic records, recommended by two associate professors or above, passing the Doctor graduate entrance examination, in good health and HSK6 certificate.
